What deadlines should you be aware of?

🇫🇷 France — Campus France Procedure (2025–2026 Intake) #

The application campaign opens on October 1, 2025 on the Études en France platform.

Deadlines vary depending on the type of procedure:

  1. DAP Procedure (Preliminary Admission Request)
  • Applications open: October 1, 2025
  • Application deadline: November 16, 2025 at 11:59 PM (Moroccan time)
  • Academic interview: between November and January, depending on the center.
  • Results and admission offers: between March and May 2026

This procedure applies to students applying for Licence 1 (first undergraduate year) or for National Schools of Architecture.

  1. Non-DAP Procedure (Licence 2, Master’s programs, schools, etc.)
  • Applications open: October 1, 2025
  • Application deadline: February 28, 2026
  • Academic interviews: from February to April 2026
  • University responses: between April and June 2026
  • Student visa procedures: starting June 2026, after admission is validated.

Altea Consulting Tip: we recommend preparing your application as early as September to gather all required translations, language certificates (DELF, TCF, IELTS…), and letters of recommendation before the platform opens.

🇩🇪 Germany — Uni-Assist Platform & Universities #

  • Winter semester (October intake): applications from December to July
  • Summer semester (March–April intake): applications from May to January

Each university sets its own deadlines. Always check the specific dates on the institution’s website.

🇺🇸 United States — Universities & Colleges #

Applications open 8 to 12 months before the academic year, typically starting in August or September.

  • Highly selective universities (Ivy League, major public universities) close applications between November and January.
  • Institutions with rolling admission accept applications until March or April, depending on availability.
