The required documents vary depending on the destination country, but a complete application always includes the following elements:

🇫🇷 France – Long-Stay Student Visa (VLS-TS) #

  1. Admission letter or official enrollment certificate from the French institution.
  2. Valid passport (at least 2 blank pages and valid for a minimum of 12 months).
  3. Proof of financial resources:
    • Bank statement showing at least €615 per month (or a financial guarantor).
    • Recent bank statements of the guarantor.
  4. Proof of accommodation in France (reservation, housing certificate, or rental contract).
  5. Health insurance certificate covering the entire stay.
  6. Completed and signed long-stay visa application form.
  7. Recent passport-size photos meeting the official requirements.

🇩🇪 Germany – National Student Visa (D Visa) #

  1. Admission letter from a German university.
  2. Valid passport
  3. Proof of financial means:
    • Blocked account (Sperrkonto) with a minimum of €11,208 per year,
    • or a financial guarantor (Verpflichtungserklärung).
  4. Health insurance valid in Germany.
  5. Proof of accommodation (shared flat, student residence, rental contract).
  6. Visa application form + biometric photos.
  7. Language certificates:
    • TestDaF / DSH for German-taught programs,
    • TOEFL / IELTS for English-taught programs.

🇺🇸 United States – F-1 Student Visa #

  1. Admission form (I-20) issued by the U.S. university.
  2. Valid passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the end date of studies).
  3. DS-160 form completed online.
  4. Proof of SEVIS payment ($350) and visa application fee ($160).
  5. Proof of financial support: bank statements, scholarships, sponsor letter, or affidavit of support.
  6. Proof of housing or planned accommodation.
  7. Mandatory health insurance (provided or required by the university).
  8. TOEFL or IELTS certificate.
